This is a major new recruit. Singer Lio is joining the team of “Piquantes”, the talk show hosted by Nicole Ferroni on Téva, announced “Le Parisien” this Friday, September 13. The 62-year-old Belgian artist, known for her feminist commitments and for not being shy, joins comedians Christine Berrou, Laura Domenge, Thaïs Vauquières, Antonia de Rendinger and actress Marion Séclin. A group that will be back for a new and fifth season of the program, launched in 2020. Actress Élise Larnicol and comedian Blandine Lehout will also be recurring faces on the program.
Lio “said yes right away” to the production
Last June, Lio fell in love with the show after being invited onto the set. “She loved the tone, the atmosphere“, confided Catherine Schofer, director of Paris Première and Téva to “Le Parisien”. The singer then assured that she had “want to come back regularly” et “said yes right away“to the production’s proposal to move to the other side of the table. Just like the actress Le Cas Pucine, who won “France has incredible talent” in 2019, becomes a columnist after being invited last season.”She was the one who told us she wanted to come back too.“, explains Catherine Schofer to the daily.

But, while the show is scheduled to return on October 5, Lio will make her appearance a little later, “before the end of the year“, specifies the producer. The reason: the singer is preparing for a tour in Belgium with a play. This is far from being the artist’s first experience in television. This new role marks the artist’s return to the M6 group, former jury of the “Nouvelle star” for three seasons. More recently, she was one of the personalities present on the set of “Sophie et les copains”, presented in the 2023-2024 season by Sophie Davant on Europe 1, then member of the jury of “Drag Race Belgique” on RTBF.
