Who will succeed Jalylane Maes and become the next ambassador of the archipelago?

Eleven young women, each more beautiful, motivated and determined than the last, are in the running to succeed Jalylane Maës, Miss Guadeloupe 2023 and 3rd Runner-up to Miss France 2024.

These contenders for the crown of Miss Guadeloupe 2024 are preparing to experience an exceptional human adventure on Sunday : they will be the heroines of a gala evening, at the end of which one of them will become ambassador of our beautiful archipelago, which has offered so many beauty queens to France. This, in the presence of Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024.

Moreover, the winner will present herself at the end of the year in the Miss France 2025 election.

Beyond the criterion of beauty, it is the highlighting of the charm, intelligence, elegance and interpersonal skills of these young girls that will allow the jury and the public to decide.

• Candidate No. 5 is from Morne-à-L’eau : Leslie Coquin26 ans.

• Candidate #6 is from Les Abymes : Manuellyne Elmancin22 ans.

• Candidate #7 is from Sainte-Anne : Gwellane Estagel22 ans.

• Candidate #8 is from Vieux-Habitants : Melinda Gueret25 ans.

• Candidate #9 is from Petit-Bourg: Shana Jean-Clement20 ans.

• Candidate No. 10 is from Pointe-Noire: Shanaëlle Judith22 ans.

• Candidate #11 is from Le Moule : Florence Messoah23 ans.

This year, the competition will take on new momentum, with the arrival of Sandrine Derrick at the head of Miss Guadeloupe Organization, which wanted to place the regional election under the evocative theme “From Guadeloupe to the Universe“.

The exceptional show of the election of Miss Guadeloupe 2024, presented by David Eugène, will be followed on Guadeloupe La 1ère, live, on television, this Sunday, September 15, from 4:00 p.m. An expanded system will be offered to Guadeloupeans, on our digital networks, to allow them to be at the heart of the event.

Several artists will be there, including Misié Sadik, Melshane and Were Vana.
Véronique de la Cruz, Miss Guadeloupe 1992 and Miss France 1993, will be the president of the final jury of this Miss Guadeloupe 2024 election. A joy to see again the one who made our region proud 31 years ago by becoming the first Miss Guadeloupe crowned Miss France. !
