A wind of anxiety is sweeping over influencers. Bastos has uncovered an attempted scam by a hacker who allegedly targeted several victims in the industry. The YouTuber explains everything in detail and makes a radical decision.

Bastos, whose real name is Bastien Grimal, had promised to retire from television. To the great surprise of viewers, the YouTuber was part of the cast of Apprentice Champions, a new concept of show centered on the sports competition broadcast on W9 last June. During the adventure, Bastos had started a romance with Lisa-Marie. Moreover, the former temptress who had several flirtations, notably with Simon Castaldi or Greg Yega, gets dangerously close to Kevin Guedj in the new episodes of Fifty, currently airing. Several months after filming, the two candidates, still on good terms, met at Bastos’s. And what they revealed is like a real spy movie script!

Bastos reveals the scam he was a victim of

“Friends, something crazy has happened to me!”Bastos announced live on Twitch, from his studio set up in his Parisian apartment. On August 26, the YouTuber received an email that allegedly came from Prime Video. A casting team then offered him to join a show concept in which twelve influencers would travel to several countries. “That sounds great! I answer and we agree to talk on the phone.”Bastos continues to explain. “At the end of the chat, the guy asks me to download software to sign confidentiality agreements. When I sign up, I get an email with an invitation link. When you click on the link, you arrive at a page where you are asked for your Apple information, username and password. Basically, you give access to your cloud and an unknown computer tries to connect“. Suspicious, Bastos immediately changes his access codes.

Bastos “worried”: he files a complaint, accompanied by Lisa-Marie

By sharing his experience, Bastos realizes that Lisa-Marie and Clarysse were victims of the same scam attempt. Thanks to the help of a specialist, the YouTuber found the identity of the hacker who is active in the world of reality TV. Lisa-Marie joins Bastos on his live and tells her bad experience: “He asked me out on a real date. So when I found out it was a scam, I got scared!” This Friday, September 13, the day after this worrying revelation, Bastos spoke in an Instagram story, looking crestfallen: “This hacking story is starting to turn sour. There are many more victims! There are about fifteen of us now, so many more who have completely given access to all their information. Could we be dealing with an organization that has very different goals than just having fun? I just had a hearing at the police station. We’re going to file a complaint with Lisa-Marie and many will follow. It’s a bit worrying… I’ll keep you informed.”
