The last season of the Star Academy was literally a hit on TF1. With audiences up compared to the previous season, talented candidates and all more kind to each other, the telecrochet has managed to retain fans. The tour, initially planned for around ten dates, was extended to more than seventy dates, all of which were sold out. If the former candidates sometimes suffered from the intense pace of the tour, the first channel will try to match last year’s success for its twelfth season. In any case, this is what Ara Aprikian, deputy general director of content at TF1, told the site Puremedias.
First big news: Michael Goldman will indeed be the director next year. If certain rumors indicated that he could give up his apron, the son of Jean-Jacques Goldman visibly appreciates his role. “I can confirm to you that the boss of the Star Academy remains and will remain Michael Goldman and that Nikos Aliagas et Karima Charni will also be back”, indicated Ara Aprikian. And the latter added: “The Star Academy 2023 was quite an incredible success and we are now working to do even better next year. The challenge is huge.”

New features for the next season of the Star Academy
Indeed, how can we do better than last year? The question is worth asking as it seems difficult to match the success of the winner Pierre Garnier. However, the deputy general director of content at TF1 seems to have his own idea for achieving this. “We will have a new set which will make it possible to produce the biggest television show in Europe. We have quite a few surprises in store for you, we are currently finalizing the casting and I can tell you that it is extremely promising”he revealed, even revealing that “The success of last season attracted a lot of budding artists”. Let’s hope for telecrochet fans that the candidates will be more like those of last year than of season 10, who continue to criticize each other in the press. It may also be necessary to reorganize the tour to prevent singer burnout…
