Kelyan (Secret Story) reveals the amount he earned to voice Harry Potter

For their last AJA issue of the season, Sam Zirah invited Kelyan, a candidate from Secret Story whose secret, very original, left its mark on the public. He talks about the constraints of his job and shocks the YouTuber and his team.

The cult reality TV show about confinement has been a real success since its return to the screen after a seven-year absence. On June 18, Alexis won the grand finale of Secret Story. This young footballer managed to beat his competitors Lou, Léo and Maxence after a season full of twists and turns and strong emotions. Alexis left with a check for 100,000 euros, but also with love. Indeed, he fell under the spell of Zoé, with whom he plans a future in Belgium. Among the most significant secrets of this season, we can obviously talk about Kelyan. The comedian, who has long protected the secret “I am the French voice of the most famous wizard in the world”, was suddenly eliminated from the House of Secrets, just before the final. Invited on the set of AJA, he answers all the questions from Sam Zirah and his columnists.

Kelyan’s career slowed down by Harry Potter?

This Thursday, June 27, Sam Zirah announced the last issue of AJA season 4, his successful talk show broadcast on YouTube. For this occasion, the interviewer invited Kelyan, who marked this season of Secret Story. In a recent interview, the actor confided that he did not earn his living properly. If Daniel Radcliffe reportedly earned over $100 million for playing the wizard, how much was Kelyan paid on average for voicing the young wizard? “Harry Potter was very complicated in my career, in the sense that you didn’t want to put your voice on other projects. So, that slowed me down a lot in the profession.. It’s still my job, but I don’t earn huge sums, clearly!“ he answers frankly.

Kelyan (Secret Story) : “I negotiated very badly”

Taken up by Nicolas Waldorf, the second guest on the set, who asks him to be more precise. He complies: “For the first Harry Potter films, they were flat rates. Until the fourth, I received between 1,000 and 1,500 euros for the film.” A revelation that revolts the participants on the set. “And then there was what we call over-the-counter. So I negotiated a little more,” he adds. “Either I negotiated very badly, at the same time, I was 14, or it’s the rates. There are no agents in dubbing. It’s still a very nice sum for two weeks! We didn’t know it would be such a success.”
