This evening, we follow “The Mad Adventure of the Durrells”, an astonishing English family, on Arte. We’ve been hearing about the athletes of the Olympics since the beginning, on France 5. We’re getting carried away by the dancers from Reunion who practice voguing, on France 4.

Serial family adventures : “The Durrells’ Mad Adventure”

A British widow who is pulling the devil by the tail decides to move to Corfu with her four children. The story begins in 1935 and it is true, but here quite freely adapted from the story of the naturalist Gerald Durrell, younger brother of the novelist Lawrence Durrell. Their funny lives fuel a classic, generous and entertaining series.

Among the superstars : “Go, live, vogue: a breath of voguing in Reunion”

In 1990, Madonna struck the right poses in the music video for Vogue, signed by David Fincher. During a small dance in a small bar in Reunion Island, they do the same and we are moved by this documentary which allows us to meet these young dancers from the island. They also talk to us about self-affirmation through a different dance.
