In 2013, Kareen Antonn was cast in the second season of The Voice 2. She thus hopes to relaunch her career, supported by her friends in the industry, like Alban Bartoli. But this mother confided this Thursday, June 27 to Jordan De Luxe that she had a complicated time on the TF1 show. “It was so horrible for me, it was so unnatural to be there and struggle to sing. It was so difficult”she explains about the game mechanics. However, the forty-year-old does not have bad memories of her adventure. “I did it, at the time I wasn’t happy to go out because I didn’t do badly, I didn’t mess up in the battle”underlines the one which was tested on a register different from that which she presented during the blind auditions, as required by the rule of this stage.

A bit offended, therefore, at not having made it to the semi-final, or even the final, Kareen Antonn especially deplores her lack of optimism during filming. “The pressure I had! I made myself sick every time to the point where I was backstage and said, ‘I have to breathe,’ I was scared.I’m not in the competition at all”she admits in At Jordan’s. In addition, the artist submits to the judgment of personalities who (already) know her well. “There was a real surprise, I think they were all surprised. Florent Pagny recognized me, Jenifer also, it was surprising”, admits the one who still watches the show and dreams of participating in it as a coach. “This is the ultimate thing for me”she concludes.
