Gustin marked the adventure Koh-Lanta, The Cursed Tribe. By his performance during the tests but not only. Indeed, the 26-year-old lifeguard divides by his behavior. On the red camp, he suffered from hunger and regretted that certain comrades – especially Sarah, whom he ended up eliminating by joining the ex-yellows after reunification – did not take his discomfort into account. Near PurepeopleUgo, ex-captain of the red team, looks back on the attitude of the Swiss and gives his feelings on the subject.
What do you think of the behavior of Gustin, who finally allied himself with the ex-yellows?
I experienced it as a very complicated fact to manage because I didn't expect it at all, I was surprised. I got along very, very well with Gustin. Besides, his gesture was not against me but really against Sarah. With a single wave of his hand, he destroyed what we had worked so hard to build, namely the majority of people achieving reunification. Gustin, in one week he brought out Emmanuelle to the ambassadors then Sarah on a whim. It was his way of playing. Today, I no longer hold it against him because Koh-Lanta remains a game and we are adults. But at the time, I was very angry.
He said the girls left him to starve to death on the red camp. What do you think?
Gustin had a lot of trouble with food and I find him quite frank on the subject. He didn't expect so many difficulties and I think he was taken by surprise. There were times when he was completely unable to move. It's not that we let him starve, in fact we would all starve. I would also like to point out that girls are often more resistant than guys at this level, myself included. They complain less, they have less difficulty managing food. It's two different worlds. Hats off to the girls. Gustin had a hard time and in fact everyone reacts in their own way.
