the essential
The last seven candidates from “Koh-Lanta” once again competed to be among the five adventurers qualified for the orientation test next week.

Tears of joy and emotion. From the start of the new episode of “Koh-Lanta” broadcast Tuesday evening on TF1, the seven adventurers still in the running were surprised to see one of their loved ones arrive on the beach. Brother, sister, best friend or mother had traveled 11,000 km from . One of the loved ones was going to be the reward for the winner of the comfort game.

This event consisted of an obstacle course weighed down by a 5 kg bag for men and 3 kg for women. At each stage, the loser had to give their bag to the adventurer of their choice and then the candidates completed the course again. The three best adventurers were Charlotte, Ilyesse and Thibault. The Catalan Ugo, usually so strong in the events, was handicapped with 13 kg of bags. Coming 4th, he entrusted them to Yliesse for the final. It was ultimately Thibault, who had never won a comfort game, who won the event. He had the joy of being able to share the evening with his big brother. “I’m in paradise,” Thibault said.

The following night, Ugo, Yliesse and Charlotte had a complicated night. A deluge of water fell on their island until early morning due to tropical rains. Difficult to sleep well in these humid conditions.

A blindfolded immunity test

For their final immunity test, the seven candidates were blindfolded. They had to touch wooden plates on a totem pole, remember the model, walk back and forth on the beach and reproduce the model by replacing the plates in slots on another totem pole. Yliesse was the fastest. Sophia placed in last place and was eliminated on the spot.

In the evening, at the council, Ugo and Cécile, the two ex-reds, faced the ex-yellows Charlotte, Yliesse, Thibault and Jacques. At the gates of the final, this last vote was going to be crucial. Yliesse was untouchable thanks to her victory and Ugo had two votes, with the black ball given to him by Cassandre, eliminated last week. There were no surprises at the end of the vote: Ugo received 5 votes against him, Charlotte 2 votes.

#KohLanta Great respect for his adventure, he would have qualified for the final if he had not given his necklace to Cassandra. But he always prioritized his team over himself. One of the best adventurers in the history of Koh-Lanta ud83dudc4dud83dudcaa #Ugo pic.twitter.com/4FQu524BFj

No final for Ugo

In three participations in “Koh-Lanta”, after 117 events in total, this is the first time that Ugo will not compete in the final. The candidate from the Pyrénées-Orientales was a formidable competitor for the other adventurers and a probable winner. “I came to play, I have no regrets, no resentment, I fail at the wall, obviously I am disappointed,” he confided to Denis Brogniart.

Next week, it’s time for the orientation test for Yliesse, Jacques, Cécile and Thibault. The three winners will compete in the poles event.
