This is Julien Cohen, 57, who left the auction show in 2021 already. And the latter has new projects on television. Soon, he will take the lead in a show on 6ter, a channel of the M6 group.
No return in Done deal
Has he however given up on returning to France 2? The man with blue glasses acted as buyer from the start of the show, in August 2017. It was then presented by Sophie Davant. And since August 2023, when Julia Vignali replaced her, we have not seen Julien Cohen again. Unlike Caroline Margeridon, who remains available, he is in no hurry to return.
In the columns of Télé Loisirs, he assures: “I have some affinities with Caroline Ponswho is a friend of mine, and with Clément Anger. These are the two people I stayed in touch with.”.
However, he is not even considering an appearance for a special issue of the program. Julien Cohen assures: “Once I've done something and moved on anything else, I won't come back to it again.”.
And he still filmed 1,557 episodes for France 2, in 4 years of presence on the popular show. We understand well why the antique dealer got tired. He even admits: “When you make 1500, it’s because you want to please some people other than yourself.”
Everything for his new show
Now, the man with the blue glasses is turning to his own show. It will be a bonus on the TNT sister channel. She will be called thes Kings of lost packages and is coming to TV very soon.
Regarding this new television experience, Julien Cohen is looking forward to it. The former collaborator of Affaire concludede says: “I loved this exercise. Putting others forward is very nice.“.
