Un Si Grand Soleil in advance: summary of the episode of Thursday June 20, 2024 [SPOILERS] – News Series on TV

Achille and Cécile discover the truth about Christophe

In the early morning, Cécile is mad with worry. It must be said that Christophe did not come home all night and did not answer the phone. Although concerned, the judge makes her son believe that her husband has returned safely before leaving early this morning for an operation. However, Achille finds it strange, especially since Christophe always comes to say goodbye to him even if he is sleeping.

At the police station, the Montpellier police and prosecutor Picard take stock of the Fleuriste affair. As there is now no longer any doubt that Christophe is the serial killer they are looking for, prosecutor Picard cannot help but have a moving thought for Cécile. Indeed, Michel knows full well that this is going to be very hard for her. Despite everything, he asks investigators to arrest Christophe as quickly as possible.

For her part, Cécile calls Charles. Unfortunately, the latter has no news from Christophe. At the same time, the police arrived at the veterinary office and carried out a search.

Immediately, Commissioner Becker arrives at Cécile’s house and informs her that he has come to arrest her husband. He then reveals to her that he suspects Christophe of being the Florist. A hard blow for Cécile who says she has had no news from her husband since yesterday before giving the green light to the commissioner and his teams to carry out a search of her home. Particularly tense, the judge remembers the discussions she had with her husband about the serial killer and the many doubts she had about him.

At the end of the search, Cécile is very thoughtful. She confides to Commissioner Becker how difficult it will be for her to tell her son that his father is an assassin. Becker offers to stay with her to talk to her but Cécile prefers to do it herself. Before leaving, the commissioner assures him of his support.

At the end of the day, Cécile announces to Achille that the police are looking for Christophe. As he struggles to understand what she is talking about, Cécile specifies that the investigators suspect him of having killed people. Obviously, Achille struggles to believe it but Cécile retorts that all this is true. Getting extremely angry, the teenager began to scream before leaving the scene in a fury.

When night falls, Achille walks the streets of the city and tries to call his father but without success. Moved, he leaves her a message on the answering machine: “Dad, it’s me again. You need to call me back. They say horrible things about you, that you killed people. I know it’s not true but you have to come back and tell them. I miss you. I hope you’re well“.

At the same time, Christophe’s lifeless body still lies in the forest a few kilometers away…

Charles may have found Muriel a job

Alain and Élisabeth’s wedding is fast approaching. Besides, the doctor would like to go to the caterer to decide on a menu for the guests. However, Élisabeth has her work cut out for her. It must be said that the businesswoman is looking for a cabinet director who will take care of appointments and travel for her. And suffice to say that Elisabeth is in a hurry to find the rare pearl to finally be able to take care of her marriage.

Not far away, Boris tells Charles that L. Cosmétiques is looking for a cabinet director who has knowledge of international trade. As he thinks he knows the ideal person for the job, Charles promises to get back to him as soon as possible.

For her part, Élisabeth receives many candidates for the position but no one is up to the task. She also asked Berthier to change recruitment agencies because no candidate matched the requested profile.

Meanwhile, Muriel meets Eliott in the visiting room. After hearing from his son, Eliott explains to his partner that he will receive the conclusions of his judgment in the coming days. Good news that doesn’t seem to really please Muriel.

Muriel then returns home where she finds Eve who was looking after Toma in her absence. Having enjoyed looking after her grandson, the French teacher indicates that she can look after him after classes or on weekends if she needs it. Muriel then thanks her before specifying that it is her neighbor who generally takes care of her son in her absence. Words that seem to upset Eve.

Immediately, Charles calls Muriel and tells her about the position at L. Cosmétiques. Since she confirms that she has already held this type of position in the past, Charles offers to send her Boris’s contact details. Muriel thanks him then promises to invite him to dinner to thank him, which he happily accepts.
