The semi-final of “Mask Singer”, broadcast on Saturday evening due to the kick-off of Euro 2024 football, allowed us to know the three personalities qualified for the final.
We know the finalists for the season of “Mask Singer”. Four characters were still competing for the semi-final organized on the theme of the 80s: the hippopotamus, the pearl, the scarecrow and the leopard.
For this semi-final, a new character appeared: the avatar. His role: to be an investigator for an evening alongside the jury made up of Kev Adams, Chantal Ladesou, Inès Reg and Laurent Ruquier. The jury first had to try to identify him. With one clue in particular: the avatar remained at the top of the Top 50 for 10 weeks and made a film with Kev Adams. But his interpretation of “If I were a man” by Diane Tell did not allow the jury to discover his identity. After searching, the jury agreed on the name of the actor Vincent Desagnat. Good pick ! The actor was well hidden in the avatar costume, he who had already donned the pickle costume this season. Once unmasked, Vincent Desagnat joined the jury for the rest of the show.
Vincent Desagnat had enjoyed significant success with Mickaël Youn and Benjamin Morgaine in several musical parodies in the 2000s during the show “Morning live” on M6.
The first duel pitted the leopard against the Pearl. Two great voices of French song who no longer really have any secrets for the jury, Laurent Ruquier having even found his identity, without being able to reveal it publicly. The other duel pitted the hippopotamus against the scarecrow.
At the end of the show, the final duel pitted the hippopotamus against the leopard. The pearl therefore had to return to the den to unmask itself. The hidden personality was singer Sheryfa Luna!
Sheryfa Luna won the fourth season of the show “Pop Stars” on M6 in 2007.
The grand finale of “Mask Singer” will take place next Saturday and will pit the hippopotamus, the leopard and the scarecrow against each other.
