Truth be told, the feelings are not necessarily obvious on both sides. Jeremy believes that he has not reached the stage of sentimental declarations. Would the passion of his young wife have scared him? “ She used a word that is very strong for me. I find it too extreme”, he said. However, their attraction is obvious. And the two candidates decide to meet again very quickly, as soon as they return to France. So what about their romance now? Attention, advice to those who have the patience to wait for the broadcast of the show… This article could well spoil some crucial elements!

The most anticipated Married at First Sight reunion

In the next episode of this eighth season of Married at First Sight, Marie took the road to join Jérémy at his home, near Bordeaux. The objective is to share a weekend as a couple. The young woman did not come alone. She is accompanied by her lifelong companion, his dog. This impromptu meeting does not bother Jérémy, who takes the opportunity to also introduce his four-legged friend. The two canines seem to get along wonderfully. Marie is over the moon and Jérémy is delighted with this welcome understanding: “ I think it’s going well“. But the pleasure of the young groom goes beyond this single observation. Indeed, he confides, during an interview, thathe impatiently awaited the arrival of his dear and tender. He is keen to help her discover his world. For her part, Marie is flattered by the warm welcome given to her by the one who already makes her heart beat: “ I’m so happy that he holds me in his arms. It’s so beautiful… I’m about 15 at that time”.

Will the distance undermine Marie and Jérémy’s budding relationship?

Jérémy notes, with a certain philosophy, “ that masters are the same as their dogs”. Certainly, but then what about the distance? The dog is a pack animal, which generally does not appreciate solitude. Obviously, in this respect too, owners resemble their animals. And it’s Jérémy who will have to address the problem of distance. Not wanting to rush things, he starts by showing Marie around his apartment. He takes the opportunity to present his creations as a decorative marble worker. His work finds a true admirer in his wife, who raves: “ I really admire what he creates.“. Then, during the evening, the candidate gathers his courage to tackle a slightly more serious subject. He admits that according to him, distance can represent a real obstacle to their future. While the groom lives near Bordeaux, his wife lives in Biarritz. Each meeting therefore requires approximately two hours of driving by car. Yet, the candidate does not share Jérémy’s concern. She is convinced that it is possible to find an organization that will allow them to see each other regularly. Conciliatingly, she adds: “ If we can already have a day in common, that’s fine. I don’t mind coming when you’re working and only seeing you in the morning and evening.”. Will this arrangement succeed in maintaining a real couple relationship?
