The old Minister of Culture took advantage of his appearance on France 2 to present his book, Holy monsters. It was then that she revealed anecdotes about her career in politics, which shocked Léa Salamé, Christophe Dechavanne and their guests.

“Is it true that during a meeting, a National Front candidate said to you: if you are fighting for the dykes, it’s because you are one!”said Christophe Dechavanne to Roselyne Bachelot. The question is not based on a rumor. It is the politician herself who spoke about it in her new book, as Léa Salamé then pointed out.
The journalist also showed herself shockedindicating that this is the first time she has heard such inappropriate remarks in politics. As for Roselyne Bachelot, she confirmed the veracity of these comments, while providing other anecdotes of the same kind. “When I go up to the podium of the National Assembly for the first time, I am the speaker of the group on minimum integration income (…) a member of my group (…) threw me : ‘Hey, here’s the concert of vaginas'”she said.

Roselyne Bachelot did not have her tongue in her pocket during her intervention on the show What a timee. The former politician in fact attacked the entire political systemas it has become today. According to her, “there are no more norms, no more keys to understanding political life”. Worse still, the new politicians have become “monsters”.
The old Minister of Culture thus opposes these “monsters” to “fawns”which designate politicians like Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy, François Mitterrand and Charles de Gaulle. On the other hand, Marine Le Pen, Emmanuel Macron et Jean-Luc Mélenchon represent another generation, which Roselyne Bachelot calls that of “monsters”.
Even more serious, the political class “finds himself unable to generate minimal acceptance“, explains Roselyne Bachelot. According to her, we should not “being followed by 10% of people who are fanatics” to arrive at build consensus. You have to be “accepted by 50.1% of French people”.
