Six months after his serious gunshot wound to the chest, the case for which was dismissed, the singer was again present on television.

A new stage in the comeback of the 28-year-old man. On Friday October 4, he shared his new album, “Vivre”. He performed one of his new singles, “If only”, posted behind a piano covered in candles. “It all started here ten years ago. It goes by very quickly. I have the impression that it really passed like a shooting star,” he declared at the microphone of the presenter, Nikos Aliagas.

Many disillusioned viewers

He, the winner of season 3 of The Voice, when he was only 17 years old, thanked his audience. “It means a lot to be here ten years later. It means that I’m lucky to have an audience that follows me, who is incredibly full of love and loyalty. It’s really a lucky and happy to be supported like that,” he insisted.

An audience not necessarily won over given the reactions of many Internet users on social networks during the broadcast of the final of The Voice Kids. “It’s a joke to invite Kendji Girac”, “Kendji who will come back to sing his new sound as if nothing had happened”, “it’s absurd”, “praise Kendji Girac after what he did” or even “shame Kendji, he has no place on this show”, we could read on X last night.

The return of the Color Gitano performer was nevertheless welcomed by some viewers who welcomed a “great return from Kendji”. The singer wanted to thank his fans on Instagram by writing: “Looking forward to reliving magnificent moments with you”, he who will tour all over France in 2026.
