A few months ago, the OHO application revolutionized reality TV by launching We Are Open, a live and uncensored show with anonymous candidates. The program was a success and OHO will soon launch a brand new show called Reality Club with, this time, reality TV stars in the cast! Of course, viewers will still have all the power!
Broadcast live directly to your smartphone from the OHO app, Reality Club promises to shake up the codes of the genre. The show will be launched on October 14, 2024. It is a new program available on the OHO app, as well as on channel 77 of the Free bouquet. “This season, 8 emblematic reality TV candidates will join the Reality Club, a hyper-connected 400m2 loft which allows them tocommunicate directly with their communities via new features such as chat and votes. They all come with a different objective, but they all have a common desire: that of confronting their vision of reality TV and their daily lives to viewers who will be more connected and present than ever. And for this, they are ready to live their real lives, without editing in front of their fans…and interact with them live! Their ultimate goal? Be first in the Reality Club rankings!“, we can read in the press release.
An exceptional cast
Part of the cast of this reality TV which promises to be exceptional has already been revealed. We will find Bastos, who was convinced by the concept to the point of coming out of retirement, the unforgettable Cindy Lopes of Secret Story 3the hilarious Beverly Bello, and Solène, who is widely talked about in The Villa of Broken Hearts 9notably following his rapprochement with Gabriel behind Cynthia’s back.
“This new season has been designed from the angle of freedom and authenticity. The viewers will really have a real role to play: They are decision-makers on many facets of the program, from a choice of outfit, to a potential elimination for a candidate who does not respect the rules of the House. And, above all, they witness the consequences of their choices live. For candidates, they have for the first time the opportunity to show what they want, without any editing. The idea is to show the most authentic version of who they are and what they want to be“, explains Rodolf Tassou-Villette, the producer.
The candidates are super motivated!
During the conference we had the opportunity to chat with Cindy Lopes, Bastos and Beverly and the three are super motivated and eager to start the adventure. For the former Secret Story 3 star, Reality Club will be “a turning point in the history of reality TV“. “In this show, I will be free, I will be able to say and do what I want. That’s a wealth“, she rejoices.
“I am excited to come to a new program that, unlike others, will be ethical“, explains Bastos, before returning to the fact of being broadcast live: “It’s something I’m really used to, being constantly subject to comments, chat and interaction with the audience. It’s something that is part of my daily life. SO, I am very confident of bringing something new to reality TV. I’ve been talking to the production of this project for over a year“.
Regarding fixed cameras, Bastos is also very happy with their return: “I really like the fact that there are fixed cameras, because I can’t stand seeing guys chasing the cameras to be in absolutely every sequenceI find it boring“.
“I’m very excited, I can’t wait for it to start. I’m also super happy to be able to continue creating my usual content in parallel. In general, participating in a shoot for several weeks means cutting everything. This is not the case here. You can juggle both“, he concludes.
Reality Club will be broadcast on OHO, Monday to Friday, from 6 p.m. to midnight, and replays will be available every day directly on the application. We can’t wait to discover this new show!
