A 57-year-old woman found dead in her home, investigation opened for murder

A 57-year-old woman was found dead at her home in (Hauts-de-Seine) this Thursday early in the afternoon, we learned
Actu17. Suspicious marks were noted on his head and the public prosecutor’s office indicates that it has opened an investigation into intentional homicide. An autopsy will be performed.

It was the relatives of this fifty-year-old who alerted the firefighters this Thursday. They went to this woman’s home, located on Boulevard Victor-Hugo, around 2:15 p.m., when she no longer showed any sign of life. The door to his apartment, located in a social residence, was closed but not locked. Firefighters discovered his lifeless body, sitting on a chair, “head resting on a table”according to a source close to the investigation.

The police were alerted and made observations. “Suspicious traces of swelling were noted on the forehead and eyes of the deceased”specifies this source.

The causes of death of this fifty-year-old will have to be determined by the autopsy. The parquet evokes “uncertainty (…) at this stage about the exact causes of death and the origin of the body’s condition”. Police officers from the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Judicial Police Service (SDPJ 92) were responsible for the investigations.
