A platform to oppose the removal of Health Magazine had therefore been signed by around a hundred health figures, such as the former Minister of Health, Agnès Buzyn. These signatories can be reassured, their dissatisfaction has been heard by the program director, Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez. “ I always listen to the concerns that are expressed. I clearly saw that the deletion of Health Magazine had caused a stir “, he confided to La Tribune Sunday, in an article published on May 5. “ I understand the attachment to this historic France 5 program and we therefore finally decided to extend it “, declared Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez.

However, viewers will have to say goodbye to the iconic presenter of the show. Marina Carrère d’Encausse will no longer be at the head of the Health Magazine and the formula will also undergo some changes. “ We are working with the Newen teams to develop a new format for the magazine: Jimmy Mohamed there will be the only one in charge every day », Revealed Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez. But fans of the 62-year-old doctor can rejoice, they will find her at “ the presentation of Health Survey in the first part of the evening » and she will also be in charge of “ social documentaries, like the film on the end of life that she made », explained the program director.

During his time in the program Looking forward to Sundaybroadcast on France 3 on March 24, Marina Carrère d’Encausse revealed that the last broadcast of the Health Magazine would be May 31, ” we stop the broadcast after twenty-six years of good and loyal service “, she explained, moved. But she had a new project in mind: according to information from Stratégies magazine, published on April 16, Marina Carrère d’Encausse and Michel Cymes have in fact planned to launch La Chaîne Infos Santé (LCIS), a television channel whose name is temporary, broadcast on TNT, but which will be exclusively devoted to health information. Viewers will have to be patient before seeing Marina Carrère d’Encausse and Michel Cymes on screen, because the channel could only see the light of day in January 2025.
