Who is Brad Sherman, Iman Pahlavi’s fiancé?

Iman, the second of three daughters of Prince Reza and Princess Yasmine Pahlavi, has just announced her upcoming wedding. Let’s lift a corner of the veil on her future husband, Bradley Sherman…

Since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, the former imperial family of Iran has established itself across the Atlantic, even if it has not lost all hope of returning one day to Tehran. The son of Mohamed Reza Pahlavi – the last Shah of Iran – Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi had three daughters from his marriage to Yasmine Eternad-Amini: Noor (31), Iman (29) and Farah (19) . All three were still officially single, before the youngest announced her engagement. The news was published on Sunday August 6, 2023 on the Instagram profile of her older sister, Noor, who has no less than 90,000 subscribers: “He was already family, but this weekend he made it official!”

The event took place on a beach in the Bahamas, in the presence of the whole family reunited, as evidenced by some very romantic shots. However, Iman, practically absent from social networks, cultivates discretion. And if we find a few dozen “Bradley Sherman” on Facebook – a fairly common surname – none of these profiles seem to correspond to the mysterious fiancé of the princess…

It was first in 2017 that Iman and Brad met, thanks to common relations, including a cousin of the princess. Their idyll only really begins three years later, when they find themselves through a friend from university. At the time, Iman was slowly recovering from a skiing accident and Bradley was very present during his recovery. The Covid-19 epidemic and health measures are rushing things unexpectedly. In order not to be separated, the young people decide to move in together in Maryland, near the family home of the Pahlavi. With no idea how long the pandemic will last, they are determined to make their relationship work. Bet won: on leaving confinement, they settle together in New York, more in love than ever.

Bradley Sherman, a technophile businessman

But who is this young man? Bradley was born in Chicago, two or three years before Iman, into a united and loving family, explains the Imperial Household Secretariat. His parents are Sanford and Maria Sherman, and he has one brother, Scott. Her father, Dr. Sanford S. Sherman, is a neurologist specializing in strokes. He practices in Lake Barrington as well as in several hospitals in Illinois and has developed programs for the prevention of disease and the maintenance of cognitive well-being.

Between 2009 to 2013, Bradley completed two “Bachelor of Science” degrees in Business Administration and Management, Marketing and Support Services, at the University of Arizona. He then participated in the creation of a Fashion for Good start-up in Amsterdam. He then returned to New York to work as a director of Plug and Play, a business development company “focused on seed investments in supply chain sustainability and social and environmental impact”.

From 2019 to 2022, he will be “strategy and growth” director of the famous online sales platform Alibaba.com for North America. Then, and until last January, he became director of “business development” for Flexport, a logistics platform for orders and shipments. Since then, he has been the founding manager of partnerships at Luckylabs.io, a start-up that promotes synergy between brands and retail chains – such as Sephora – in order to better reach their customers, via the Internet.

In short, Iman’s future husband is an accomplished businessman, with a “vision of the future focused on innovation and growth”! But he is also, fortunately, a young man with a passion for sports, such as snowboarding and golf. He also loves traveling and enjoys discovering new destinations with his fiancée, family and friends. Which adds a touch of adventure to an existence that might otherwise seem too serious!
