The reactions of Internet users were not long in coming: “You really have to be a f*p to put this before broadcast on TV”, “Why are you spoiling? Thanks for the worst spoiler of my life“, “Delete… TF1 will not appreciate it”, could we read under the publication.
For some, this behavior reflects a lack of respect for viewers and the production. Others highlighted the risks that this leak could cause, particularly for the person responsible for the publication.
Who is Marine Delplace, the Star Academy finalist supported by many Belgians?
A spectator at the origin of the spoiler
The video in question comes from a spectator who was in the audience during the recording of the show. The latter first boasted on X about having his phone, publishing: “I really don’t have my phone.”accompanied by a video revealing the set from the start of the evening.
-However, the real outcry was caused by the video revealing the name of the winner. Faced with criticism, the author of the spoiler did not seem perturbed, responding dryly: “Just don’t go to Twitter. (became X since: Editor’s note) Welcome to the networks.”
This incident reignites the debate on the use of smartphones during broadcasts recorded with a slight delay. If the Star Academy allowed with certain exceptions to have access to their phones during filming, this type of behavior risks reinforcing the restrictions.
