A new match is being added to the 2025 Royal Rumble card. Indeed, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa will put their WWE tag team belts on the line against the former champions… and with a stipulation.
On WWE SmackDown on January 24, 2025, the Motor City Machine Guns won their match against Pretty Deadly before entering the match between Johnny Gargano and Apollo Crews, distracting the WWE Tag Team Champions. Later during the show, MCMG announced to DIY that they will face each other for the titles at the Royal Rumble in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match!
This match between DIY and the MCMG is added to the Royal Rumble 2025 card, alongside the Ladder Match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens as well as the two Royal Rumble Matches.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 takes place on Saturday, February 1 and will stream on Netflix as well as the WWE Network.
