Very disturbed weather!

A depression present over Ireland is driving a very dynamic southwesterly flow over our country. It favors a strong tightening of the isobaric lines in our region and therefore a strengthening of the wind.

In the morning, the wind strengthens quickly in Finistère, these strong winds are accompanied by further precipitation, sometimes moderate. During the morning, the disturbance spreads rapidly across our region and brings light to moderate precipitation. We expect gusts that could exceed 130 km/h on the coast and 100 km/h inland between Trégor and Pays Bigouden.

In the afternoon, the rains are generally more disparate, but the wind remains strong, it even strengthens towards Ille-et-Vilaine and we generally observe gusts of between 80 and 90 km/h.

On the coasts, especially Finistère, the wind calms down a little but can still exceed 100 km/h.

Morning temperatures are quite cool, between 2 and 7°C. They will depend on nighttime cloud cover.

-

In the afternoon, temperatures are very mild, generally between 10 and 12°C.

Tendency

Monday: the weather is a little calmer with nice clearings over a large part of the region but still cloudy periods which are sometimes significant and bring showers which are more numerous on the Atlantic coast.

Tuesday: the weather and temperatures remain generally similar to Monday, but this time, the showers are more numerous on the northern coast.

Wednesday: the flow remains oceanic with the arrival of a new disturbance from the Atlantic.
