Things are not getting better weather-wise with the arrival of the Herminia depression which will bring violent winds and heavy rain. Vigilance changes to Orange for the risk of rain-flooding, reports the prefecture, which calls for vigilance:
“The prefecture informs you that the Morbihan department is placed in a state of orange level meteorological vigilance (level 3 out of 4) for the risk of rain-flooding from 6 p.m. this Sunday, January 26, 2025 and until 11 p.m. the same day.

The “Herminia” depression generates violent winds in the morning over Brittany, it will be followed in the evening by rainy degradation in a context of saturated soils.
On Sunday evening, further strengthening of the wind is expected, orange vigilance is not envisaged for the moment but the situation calls for caution.
The prefect of Morbihan calls for everyone to be vigilant and to respect the precautionary instructions below.
