The public prosecutor requested a sentence of 25 years of criminal imprisonment against Jason Faix this Friday, January 24, 2025 before the Assize Court. He has been on trial since the day before, Thursday, for the murder of his neighbor, Virginie Deloeuil, 45 years old. The victim’s body was found several days later by the firefighters, called by the Buxerolloise’s daughter, on July 8, 2021.

Jason Faix explained to the court that he went to her house on the night of June 30 to 1is July to claim a drug debt. The tone rose, she slapped him and he strangled her.

Probationary suspension for the fraud

He and his ex-partner are also being prosecuted for fraud, because he left the apartment with Virginie Deloeuil’s credit card and code, then making purchases and withdrawals with it.

The experts, psychologist and psychiatrist, pointed out impulsive, unstable, fragile and narcissistic traits in the two accused. He is not intrinsically violent but can become dangerous when he uses drugs. He had full discernment at the time of the events and does not suffer from post-traumatic syndrome.

Cindy Micheluzzi is emotionally dependent and easily influenced. She had difficulty explaining her involvement this Friday morning, she doesn’t really remember. It was Jason who gave him the card and the code, asking him to withdraw money. She trusted him.
