Météo France has placed 14 departments on yellow rain-flood vigilance for the day of Friday January 24.
Be careful in the west of the country. Fourteen departments in the west and north-west of France are under yellow alert for rain-flooding on Friday January 24.
The departments concerned are Calvados, Côtes-d’Armor, Eure, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique, Manche, Mayenne, Morbihan, Oise, Orne , Seine-Maritime, Yvelines and Val-d’Oise.
-“Between Friday and Saturday, cumulative rainfall could be significant from Pays de la Loire, Brittany to Lower Normandy, likely to be dangerous. On Saturday, moderate rain is expected in the Cévennes without presenting a risk at present given the uncertainty over the still significant accumulations,” reports Météo-France in its latest bulletin.
