This Thursday, January 23, 2025, around twenty French departments are under weather surveillance. The -Atlantique spared for this day should join this list in a few hours.

Indeed, in its forecast bulletin, Météo places the Loire department in yellow for the day of Friday January 24.

A first vigilance will be activated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. pour vent. The second, for rain-flood, will be effective from 9 a.m. to midnight.

A possible worsening of the situation

Météo France, however, announces a “possible worsening of vigilance”. In fact, “ moderate but lasting rains, are expected for Friday and until Saturday morning.”

” THE values of the highest expected accumulations and their localisation still remain uncertain,” continues Météo France to explain the current continued yellow rain-flood vigilance.
