The men’s singles draw at the Australian Open has reached the quarterfinals, with eight competitors vying for the title of the first Grand Slam of the tennis season: Tommy Paul, Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz , Jannik Sinner, Alex De Minaur, Ben Shelton and Lorenzo Sonego. The matches will begin this Tuesday, January 21. All courts will offer live coverage via a premium streaming service.

Beyond the prestige of the title, the financial incentives offered by the tournament constitute a major motivation for these elite athletes. The total prize pool saw an increase of 11% compared to the previous year.

The quarter-final match between American Tommy Paul and German Alexander Zverev will open hostilities in the morning. Later in the morning, around 6:30 a.m. (Brasilia time), the most anticipated match so far will see Serbian Novak Djokovic take on Spanish star Carlos Alcaraz.
