This Monday, January 20, 2025, Donald Trump became the 47th president of the United States. A day marked by the inauguration which concluded with the signing of numerous decrees. But also by speaking out (finally) on the war in Ukraine.
“Zelensky wants to make a deal”
During his campaign, Donald Trump said he would end the conflict within days. It is clear that this may take longer than expected.
-From the Oval Office, Donald Trump reiterated his desire to speak with Vladimir Poutineand why not “soon by phone”. Ukrainian President Volodymyr “Zelensky wants to make a deal. I don’t know if Putin wants that, maybe not. (But) he should do it. I believe he is destroying Russia by not sealing a settlement.”added Trump to journalists.
