Five nights to remove snow in Sherbrooke

This operation is made necessary by the narrowing of traffic lanes. Snow will therefore be removed from the edges of streets, especially those with sidewalks, in roundabouts or in streets with a width of less than three meters.

Where possible, the City will blow snow onto citizens’ property rather than loading it into trucks. To do this, a minimum clearance distance is essential from buildings, trees, hedges or other obstacles.

The City is asking for the cooperation of citizens to respect the ban on night parking on the street. Along the same lines, bins of residual materials must be placed at the edge of the street the same morning of collection to facilitate snow removal. Citizens are invited to put these bins away as soon as possible once collection has been completed.
