An apartment fire broke out this Thursday, January 16 in the evening, in a building located on rue de la Pagère in Bron, BFM Lyon learned from the Rhône fire brigade.

The fire broke out in a dwelling located on the 1st floor of an eight-story building. The entire building was evacuated, with no injuries reported. Five people will still be rehoused for the night.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m. They quickly brought the fire under control. Firefighters left the scene around 11:30 p.m.

The origin of the fire is currently unknown.
