TWO FIRES MOBILIZE FIREFIGHTERS IN ILLE-ET-VILAINE

This Thursday, January 16, the Ille-et-Vilaine firefighters were called upon twice to intervene on fires that occurred in the department. The first disaster broke out in Domagné, around 11:30 a.m., in a garage. Quickly dispatched to the scene, twenty-two firefighters fought against the flames, managing to prevent them from spreading to the neighboring house. Their action, which continued for almost two hours, ended around 1:35 p.m. Shortly after, in Fougères, another fire occurred around 11:42 a.m. in an apartment located on the third floor of a building in the center -historic city. Due to the location of the disaster, more than thirty firefighters were mobilized. Their presence was necessary until 2 p.m. to secure the scene and prevent any resumption of the fire. Faced with the damage observed, a resident could be rehoused.
