The Gers firefighters once again intervened for a fire in an agricultural building. This one broke out in the town of Saint-Griède.
The alert was given very early, at 5:18 a.m. In the shed there were two tractors, a trailer and a hydraulic splitter. The fire spread to 50 m2 of roof of the wooden structure shed with an area of 140 m2.
The firefighters, 18 of whom went to the scene quickly, were able to save the shed. They intervened with two pump machines, a lifting arm, a water carrier, an ambulance, under the orders of a group leader.
There were no injuries.
The police also went to the scene and found the accidental origin of the fire.
The mayor of the town Anne-Marie Saint-Pe was also on site.
