Throughout 2024, several public figures have spoken out to denounce the fraud they have encountered. Unfortunately, 2025 does not seem to mark a turning point, since Dominic Arpin and his family were also victims.

It is via his Instagram account that the host of Vlog shared a message about her parents, who were targeted in a fraud attempt. Scammers, using artificial intelligence, managed to recreate the voice of Dominic Arpin’s daughter in an attempt to deceive her parents.

Here is the post he shared:

Dominic Arpin’s Instagram

«You who telephone my parents pretending to be my daughter (with her cloned voice) and who try to make them believe, by crying and begging them, to help her get out of prison for an alleged road accident including she would be responsible, I despise you from the depths of my being.

As upset as she was by this particularly credible call, my mother did not fall for it. For that, well done! She still contacted me to make sure my daughter was okay. This shows the extent to which these raptors traumatize their victims. I say it again: they deserve to burn in hell.

On this, be careful and remain vigilant.”
