On pension reform, François Bayrou talks about requesting a flash study in order to know the real figures. But is it really useful, or just time saved?

Pensions: three months to improve it

Our record is not bad, it is a pay-as-you-go and points-based scheme. That of the CNAV is 150 billion in benefits per year. François Bayrou’s speech is to say he has a global vision. And he comes to say “you are going to help me, the State, to pay part of the civil servants’ pensions.” We do not agree with this, it is the tax that does it.“

What about the legal age of departure? ? “We are going to address it, because it is an ineffective and very unfair measure. It creates additional inequalities and does not solve any problem. The first point is the level of employment of seniors. Many speakers look at the file with their heads screwed on the figures, without the global intelligence of what France calls for to be able to continue to be an economic power which can finance its social systems, and in particular its retirement plans.”
