While the Austrian achieved a superb effort in front of her home crowd, Wendy Holdener competed at the top before losing time in the last thirty seconds of a very long round. Behind Holdener, we find the Swede Sara Hector at 0”94, which means that only two athletes are in the same second as Liensberger.

Fifth at 1”15, Mélanie Meillard will also have the opportunity to seek the first podium of her career in slalom. Like her compatriot, the Valaisanne of Neuchâtel origin lost time in the last two sectors.

First to set off, Camille Rast, for her part, showed timidity. She still limited the damage by ranking 8th at 1”50 and therefore 0”75 behind Wendy Holdener.

For her 103rd and final slalom, Michelle Gisin has not yet achieved any miracles. The Obwalden, victorious in the Semmering slalom more than four years ago, lacked energy to occupy 14th place at 2”38.

A fifth representative of Swiss-Ski will be able to start at 8:45 p.m., this is Aline Höpli, 27th at 3”08.

Note the poor performance of Zrinka Ljutic. The Croatian, who won the last two slaloms, made a huge mistake at the top and was pushed back to 34th place at 3”70.
