Palaja Handball: victory in 32nd of the Coupe de France

Last Saturday, the town’s gymnasium was buzzing for the 32nd final of the French departmental men’s handball cup. More than 200 people came to support the Rouge et Noir who defeated their Fabrezan counterparts with a score of 28 to 20. Following previous victories against the clubs of Soler, Minervois, Béziers and Lodève, this new victory at home allows the men of co-presidents Romain Gril, Pierre Piva and Eric Trapp to continue their journey towards the finals and hope to be able to repeat the feat of 2011, that of win this men’s departmental French Cup.
