- Charlie Daly (Macif-Santé-Prevoyance) arrived Tuesday January 14, at 8:24 a.m., in Les Sables-d’Olonne (Vendée). The 40-year-old sailor completed his solo, non-stop and unassisted round-the-world trip in 64 days, 19 hours, 22 minutes and 49 seconds, shattering the record for the event, established by Armel Le Cléac’h during the 2016-2017 edition (74 days, 3 hours, 35 minutes and 46 seconds).
- With the arrival of Charlie Dalin, there are now thirty-three competitors still at sea out of the forty sailors – there are six withdrawals to date – who took the start of the event on November 10. Yoann Richomme (Paprec-Arkéa), second, is expected this evening or tomorrow morning. Sébastien Simon (Groupe-Dubreuil) should complete the podium between Thursday and Friday.
