Graham Potter has expressed his immense pride and excitement after being named head coach of West Ham United. At 49, the British tactician is excited to take charge of a club rich in history and tradition, working alongside a passionate fan base and community he greatly respects, as well with a team overflowing with talent.
In his first interview with West Ham TV following his appointment, Potter articulated his fervent desire to build well-coached teams capable of delivering entertaining, adaptable and innovative Football whilst securing victories.
Potter spoke passionately about his desire to bring in promising young talent from the Football Academy, with the aim of strengthening the already strong bond between the club, its players and the millions of dedicated fans who not only support them at the London Stadium but across the world.

After a brief hiatus during which he shared his expertise as a respected analyst, Potter returns to a role he wholeheartedly embraces. He is rejuvenated and ready to plunge back into action, starting with the Emirates FA Cup third round match against Aston Villa this Friday, followed by a series of fiery Premier League derbies at the London Stadium against Fulham and Crystal Palace on next week.
