Vancouver Cancuks forward JT Miller could have made a return home to the New York Rangers.

Indeed, the Big Apple team would have offered center player Mika Zibanejad in return for the 31-year-old veteran earlier this season, according to information from Josh Yohe of The Athletic.

Nonetheless, the Canucks declined the offer, so Miller is still with the team as of this writing. The latter has experienced some difficulties since the launch of the campaign, having missed several matches due to personal problems.

The British Columbia organization would, however, be open to trading the former Rangers. There have been several rumors of a conflict between Miller and teammate Elias Pettersson, such that one or both of them could be traded by the Canucks.

This season, Miller has eight goals and 21 assists for 29 points in as many games. Last year, he had his most productive campaign of his career with 103 points in 81 games.

Drafted 15th overall in the 2011 National Hockey League amateur auction by the Rangers, Miller also suited up for the Tampa Bay Lightning. His current contract, worth $8 million per year, will end at the end of the 2029-2030 season.
