DLSS 4 on the program

For this new range, NVIDIA has chosen the Blackwell architecture with 5th generation Tensor cores which will promote the use of AI. This was one of the keywords regarding the new RTX cards, which allows us to highlight the new version of DLSS technology, namely DLSS 4.

The operation will remain the same as before here except that it will raise the slider a notch by favoring multi-frame generation, in order to boost the performance of your games via more frames per second and the possibility to have access to better quality ray tracing. An example of this ray-tracing is shown below, with the rendering without this technology on the left, and the one with it enabled on the right image (on Half-Life 2).

These cards will also include the Reflex 2 functionality in order to offer better responsiveness, in particular via Time Warp technology which will reduce latency, which will be essential for your online FPS games.

To get a better idea of the gap between the RTX 40 range and the RTX 50, comparative tables have been distributed with several games tested (like Alan Wake 2 et Black Myth Wukong), which see their performance considerably improved.

What are the prices of the NVIDIA RTX 50 series?

As you certainly suspect if you have already been interested in NVIDIA brand products, these RTX 50s will not be within everyone's reach. You will have to devote a certain budget to it, with RTX 5090 versions which are only aimed at a handful of people ready to spend lavishly to be entitled to the best possible configuration.

Here are the prices of the RTX 50 range :

  • GeForce RTX 5090 : 2 349 €
  • GeForce RTX 5080 : 1 179 €
  • GeForce RTX 5070 Ti : 884 €
  • GeForce RTX 5070 : 649 €

These are the base prices, which will certainly increase depending on demand and the company offering them for purchase.

When will the NVIDIA RTX 50 series be released?

This new range will be released in two stages. First, the RTX 5090 and 5080 will arrive on the market on January 30. Then comes the time for the RTX 5070 range, which are scheduled to be released during the month of February.
