According to reports from Cadena SER, Valencia CF have already made contact with Aston Villa to explore terms for a potential loan deal for young Serbian international Kosta Nedeljkovic.
Following the recent signing of Sadiq, Valencia CF remain focused on securing a right-back, and negotiations with Sporting over Iván Fresneda have reached a standstill. With the recent arrival of Rui Borges in Lisbon, Fresneda is starting to fit into the Portuguese coach’s new plans and could potentially start in tonight’s semi-final match against Porto.
Sporting have informed Valencia CF that a decision regarding Fresneda’s future will not be made until the end of the competition. If Sporting progress to the final next Saturday, the club will assess the possibility of a loan move for the player on Monday. It is worth noting that Italian club Como have also expressed strong interest in the player.

With no assurance of acquiring Iván Fresneda, Valencia CF opened negotiations with other players in anticipation of their preferred option moving forward.
Cadena SER reports that one of the alternatives being considered by the Mestalla club is youngster Kosta Nedeljkovic, for whom Aston Villa paid €7.5 million to Partizan Belgrade last year.
Nedeljkovic, who has just celebrated his 19th birthday, is not a regular starter under Unai Emery. The player appeared in 4 Premier League matches, both EFL Cup matches and two Champions League matches.
