The small machine was developed at the request of the Ukrainian army to counter the movements of Russian troops on the islands of the Dnieper River.
Two brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently carrying out military tests of the small unmanned river kamikaze boat Black Widow 2, designed to carry out combat, reconnaissance and surveillance missions in difficult conditions.
This new craft would be 1 meter long and weigh 8 kg, making it easy to maneuver in narrow river channels. The boat could reach a vspeed of 40 km/h and would have a operational range of 10 kilometers. Powered by an onboard battery, this small drone could operate for several hours or remain in sleep mode for several days while waiting for a target. It could carry a payload of 3 kgsufficient to destroy small boats and speedboats.
