An unusual approach at the start of the year. The sub-prefect, Pauline Dubus, and local elected officials will go to meet residents of the Ker Uhel district in Lannion.
A friendly time for discussion
“A time of friendly exchange and wandering following the fires which broke out on New Year’s Eve in Lannion”
The fire of twelve cars, both in the Ker Uhel district and in the Fontaines district, during the night of New Year’s Eve, after other vehicles at the beginning of December, motivated this move by the authorities.
“Coordinate state actions”
“To discuss these incidents and coordinate the actions of the State alongside local authorities, Madame Dubus, sub-prefect of Lannion, alongside the police commander and the mayor of Lannion, is organizing a friendly discussion around some king cakes with neighborhood associations and elected officials on Tuesday, January 7 at 4:30 p.m. at the Horizon social center. »
Meeting the residents
Elected officials and personalities will then tour the neighborhood on foot to meet the residents.
It remains to be seen whether the residents themselves will come to meet elected officials to discuss the neighborhood’s unease. And in what terms.
