Lane Hutson has been widely praised these days for the undeniable talent he possesses. His contribution to the Montreal Canadiens organization goes beyond expectations for his first season in the NHL. A Calder Trophy contender, he’s not just good at hockey. He also has a big heart.
The Hutson family, who are very popular these days, visited the young children at the Ronald McDonald House on Christmas Eve. Lane was accompanied by his parents, Julie and Rob, and his brothers, Quinn and Lars. His third brother, Cole, was unable to attend as he was at the junior world championship.
As reported by journalist Jeff Malek on the site Daily Faceoffthe Hutsons organized a private meeting where each child received a “Hutson’s Heroes” jersey, a Hush heavy blanket and mini hockey sticks for the families. A very nice gesture which surely brought a little joy into the lives of these families. Of course, an autograph session followed.

Still according to Marek, the family seems to want to continue to be involved with the foundation. The Hutsons love Montreal.
As I wrote these few lines to you, the young defender gave his team the lead by scoring his third goal this season, bringing his total points to 28 in 40 games. Quite an acquisition from general manager Kent Hughes so far!
Unfortunately, the Canucks came to reset the counter shortly after Lane Hutson’s goal. There are just over 10 minutes left in the third period at the Bell Centre.
