Brett Ratner will direct this documentary, the title of which has yet to be determined, with Melania as producer. Filming began in early December, just after the presidential elections, and the premiere is scheduled for the second half of the year.
It’s Ratner’s first project since 2017, when he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, accusations he denied.
Amazon said the film will offer viewers “an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump.”
“Prime Video will share more details about the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized. We look forward to sharing this unique story with our millions of customers around the world,” said an Amazon spokesperson, according to CNN.
Melania is expected to return to the White House this month. “I’m not anxious because this time it’s different,” she said in an interview with Fox News.
