Ancien DEPARTURE ROW singer Sebastian Bach is one of the featured stars of “America’s Worst Cooks: Celebrity Edition: Heroes vs. Villains”. The upcoming season, which will be the 28th installment of the cooking reality show, premieres tonight (Sunday, January 5) at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a two-hour premiere.

Returning mentor Chef Jeff Mauro welcome a newcomer Chef Antonia Lofaso to turn these culinary disasters into kitchen masters, each leading their own team of meal-prepping misfits. This season’s cast members have survived the cutthroat world of reality TV where they earned their reputations as heroes or villains, and now they’ll find out if they have what it takes to succeed at culinary boot camp . From a comic book-themed Flavor City challenge to a Games Of Scones inspired by royal cuisine, the challenges are as creative and outrageous as the contestants. After the weekly eliminations, only the most improved star still standing in the finals wins $25,000 for the charity of their choice and bragging rights for their team leader.

In the first two-hour episode, Jeff et Antoine begin their mission to transform infamous reality stars – some fan favorites and others notorious troublemakers – from culinary disasters into competent cooks. First, they must assess the culinary carnage with a basic challenge in which the recruits prepare their favorite dish for dinner. After unsavory results, the guest Carson Kressley donne Jeff et Antoine their own challenge to determine who will lead Team Hero and who will lead Team Villain. Then, in the main course challenge, it’s sink or swim as the recruits fillet a whole fish and recreate an elegant seafood dish. Who will rise to conquer the kitchen, and who will fall into the culinary chaos? Upcoming episodes feature a Reality Roast Showdown inspired by iconic reality TV shows, an American Breakfast Challenge, and the Intergalactic Scavenger Hunt Let the Course Be With You.
In the finale on Sunday, February 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the two most improved rookies must create a restaurant-quality three-course meal for the judges. Gino D’Acampo, Judy Joo et Kelsey Barnard Clark. After a blind tasting, judges determine who will receive $25,000 for their charity and bragging rights for their team leader.
