Ariana Grande has confirmed there’s a deluxe version of ‘Eternal Sunshine’ – find out more below.
While on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes earlier today (January 6), Grande revealed that “an attachment” to her 2024 record “Eternal Sunshine” “exists,” even if she doesn’t know not when it comes out.
When asked if the new music was “something she was thinking about,” Grande replied, “It’s not something I’m thinking about but you know, there’s something I did last year. last year and which will eventually be released. It’s an attachment to “Eternal Sunshine”, so it exists and it will come out at some point. But no, I’m not in the studio at the moment.
The “‘Eternal Sunshine’ attachment” is not to be confused with the “Slightly Deluxe” edition of the disc that arrived in March of last year. It consisted of four additional tracks that were not on the standard album issue and included a feature by Troye Sivan.
In a four-star review of “Eternal Sunshine,” Nick Levine wrote for ZikNation: “On the one hand, ‘Eternal Sunshine’ is a spacey but relevant breakup album, defined by its emotional maturity. “We both know I couldn’t change you – I suppose you could say the same thing,” she sings on the title track. On the other, it is the most sophisticated project ever produced by a supernaturally talented singer who continues to improve. Whatever you take away from it, “Eternal Sunshine” is certainly not an album you’ll want to erase from your memory.
Elsewhere at the 2025 Golden Globes, Ariana Grande lost the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture trophy for her role in Wicked. Zoe Saldana instead won the Golden Globe for her role in Emilie Pérez. Grande to star in Wicked sequel Villain: for goodscheduled for release later this year.
