Sunday afternoon, around 4 p.m., two men were seriously injured by shots from different types of weapons in the KFC parking lot in Vénissieux.
One of the two had been hit in the head, the other was in cardiac arrest and their vital prognosis was very serious at the time of their transfer to hospital. This Monday, according to a police source, one of the victims, aged 25, died. For the other man in his twenties, the evolution of his state of health was not given.
For the moment, according to Le Progrès, the circumstances of these shootings remain unclear. A witness who arrived on scene following the shooting saw two people on the ground, surrounded by three others. No arrests took place and the perpetrators were able to flee in their vehicle.
The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police who have already interviewed several people in the fast-food restaurant.
The fact remains that this new episode of violence is part of a dark series which has affected the Lyon metropolitan area in recent weeks, and more particularly the municipalities of Vénissieux and Villeurbanne.
