Arsenal rushes at a Parisian striker and it’s neither Asensio nor Kolo Muani

Saint-Germain are reportedly aware of Arsenal’s interest in one of their attackers. The first discussions mentioned a loan but were quickly swept aside by the management of PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal discussed Kang-in Lee case, according to The Athletic UK. The English media announces a concrete interest of Gunners for a loan with purchase option. However, the South Korean international would not be for sale except for an irrefutable offer. Luis Enrique would rely heavily on him and appreciate his versatility, as would Mikel Arteta.

The Spanish coach has reportedly blocked any departure for the time being. Lee would be valued at 44 million euros by the management of PSG, a sum too high for Arsenal. Lee is expected to stay in Paris for another six months and his situation will be re-analyzed this summer.

Aligned as a winger, false number nine and playmaker, Lee has had mixed fortunes. The South Korean was sometimes decisive but too rarely in the matches that matter. The former Mallorca player has scored six goals and provided two assists in Ligue 1.

In the Champions League, Lee has never been involved in a goal this season in just over 300 minutes played. The almost 24-year-old left-hander has a lease until June 2028 with PSG.
