It’s finally here! WWE makes its debut on Netflix with its first live episode of Monday Night Raw.
After months of tease and excitement – and days after launching a slew of content on the platform – the professional wrestling empire is bringing its weekly flagship show to the streaming service.
Members of WWE have described this show as having a WrestleMania vibe, and with icons like John Cena and Cody Rhodes confirmed, it’s hard to argue otherwise.
The schedule promises to be jam-packed, with championship fights and score-settling matches promising high-stakes action on Netflix, ushering in a new era.
Additionally, there are numerous rumors circulating regarding potential appearances from talents such as Pentagon Jr., Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Becky Lynch, adding an exciting dimension as WWE heads towards the first Royal Rumble and the road to WrestleMania on Netflix.
Here’s everything you need to know about this large-scale event planned for tomorrow.

Watch WWE Monday Night Raw live or on demand as part of your Netflix subscription, a first for the company.

WWE Raw Debuts on Netflix Featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and More
Fans are expecting big surprises for the Netflix launch, with WWE having already confirmed that John Cena will be there to begin his farewell tour ahead of his planned retirement in December 2025.
There’s also a strong possibility that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be there to start a WrestleMania rivalry with Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes – and since he’ll already be in Los Angeles for the Golden Globes this weekend, that seems telling.
Logan Paul will also return after announcing his move to Raw, while speculation abounds regarding a return of Becky Lynch, whose contract expired last summer, especially as she was involved in promoting the move from WWE on Netflix.
If this comes to fruition, many are hoping that CM Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, won’t be far away, especially because Punk is facing Becky’s husband, Seth Rollins, at this event.
WWE Raw debuts on Netflix with Penta El Zero Miedo (Pentagon Jr)
In recent weeks, WWE has released a series of cryptic videos centered around the zero symbol, a pentagram and a mask that looks exactly like Pentagon Jr’s, hinting at some interesting reveals for the first episode of Raw.
Also known as Penta El Zero Miedo, the talented wrestler recently left All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and his appearance on Monday Night now seems almost certain.
Penta left AEW after his contract expired, although his Lucha Bros tag team partner Rey Fenix is still with the company after successful extension negotiations.
When will WWE SmackDown and NXT come to Netflix?
After NXT and SmackDown premiered on YouTube this week, both shows will be coming to Netflix.
On Tuesday night (January 7) at 1am, NXT New Years Evil will air live on Netflix to kick off the arrival of the weekly show, followed by SmackDown on Friday (January 10).
From this point on, all three weekly shows will be available on the service.
What WWE shows are already available on Netflix?
Since New Year’s Day, WWE has offered a significant amount of content on Netflix.
It’s not quite on the level of the WWE Network, but the streaming platform already has almost all of WWE’s marquee events, ranging from WrestleMania to Royal Rumble, as well as more niche events like Rebellion.
All NXT TakeOvers as well as select episodes of Raw and SmackDown from recent years are also present, with many additions to come.
There are also series about current and legendary superstars, as well as many new shows under the deal.
Will the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 be held in Saudi Arabia?
Recent reports from PWInsider and Fightful suggest that the 2026 Royal Rumble could be held in Saudi Arabia next year, as part of WWE’s 10-year contract with the country – which runs until 2028.
This would mark the first time that one of WWE’s major events has been held there, but it is essential to note that this has not yet been confirmed by WWE.
